(MCW). In the role of Program Director II you will beworking in
Pediatrics. Purpose Oversee the activities of a complex department-wide
program for Pediatric Medical Education, including responsibility for
the overall management and functioning of the program, under the
direction of the Vice Chair of Pediatric Education. Provide oversight,
direction, and guidance to the Program Managers and Program
Coordinators, to facilitate the achievement of the program's goals.
Oversee financial, personnel, and accreditation needs including UME,
GME, CME and Simulation programming. Primary Functions Allocate
resources and supervise personnel for Pediatric Medical Education and
the Pediatric Simulation Program, to ensure alignment with needs and
fair distribution. Manage finances for the Division of Medical Education
and the Pediatric Simulation Program. Includes budget creation,
projection, reporting and oversight of all restricted and grant awards
in all named areas. Collaborate with Medical Education program
leadership (OME, residencies, student programs and fellowships) on the
creation, implementation and maintenance of program policies, processes,
and identification of areas of standardization. Ensure compliance with
regulatory and institutional policies including but not limited to MCWAH
policies, ACGME accreditation requirements for residency (categorical
and combined) and fellowship, LCME accreditation, CME accreditation and
licensing requirements, and Society of Simulation in Healthcare
accreditation. Participate in appropriate committees relevant to the
professional development of program staff in Pediatrics and campus wide
through the Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals Event
Planning Committee. Collaborate with and facilitate activities for CME
senior leadership in appropriate structure of Pediatric CME programming,
application, tracking, and credit allocation processes. Collaborate with
Children's Specialty Group in the coordination of educational resources
and strategic growth within medical education across the Pediatric
Enterprise. Maintain personnel records for all pediatric faculty, staff
and housestaff in residency management programs (level 6 New
Innovations), including creation and dissemination of department wide
