The Big Spring Senior Center is seeking an Executive Director to fill a 37.5-hour weekly position with limited benefits. Qualified individual must have a high school diploma, a good command of English grammar, knowledge of Word, Excel and Publisher, ability to keep meticulous records and be familiar with the Big Spring community. Must have the ability to work well with people, clients and staff, and to be able to tolerate interruptions yet meet deadlines. Main duties are to supervise Center Assistant and volunteers, attend meetings as necessary, maintain certifications, promote Center, fundraising, write grant applications and budget, plan and oversee creative programming. This job can be different day to day depending on needs of people and programming.
