Southern Twist in Barstow needs an experienced general manager. We're an established Southern comfort food spot with solid sales and a loyal customer base. Need someone who can keep everything running smooth while we continue growing.
ABOUT US: We've built a good reputation doing scratch-made soul food with our own twist. Consistent volume, regular customers, and a team that actually works.
WHAT YOU'D BE DOING:
- Manage daily operations - scheduling, ordering, cash flow
- Hire, train, and lead front and back of house staff
- Handle P&L, labor costs, and hit financial targets
- Ensure food quality, customer service, and cleanliness standards
- Deal with customer issues and staff problems as they come up
- Work with ownership on marketing, promotions, and business planning
- Handle all the compliance stuff - health department, labor law, permits
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- 2+ years restaurant management experience (GM, AGM, or similar)
- Proven track record with P&L responsibility and hitting numbers
- Experience hiring, training, and managing 15+ employees
- Knows food service operations inside and out
- Can handle customer service issues professionally
- Comfortable with restaurant POS systems and basic computer skills
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays
