Job DescriptionJoin the Clean Energy RevolutionBecome an eMobility Senior Advisor at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you will serve as a contract administrator within SCE’s Charge Ready Light Duty (CRLD) Project Management Organization (PMO) supporting a unified state-wide, policy-driven program that is intended to accelerate California’s transition to zero-emission vehicles in an effort to help meet the state’s transportation electrification and climate mitigation goals.The California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) recently approved the Transportation Electrification Framework (TEF), which authorizes $1 billion to be used between 2025 and 2029 to help accelerate electric vehicle infrastructure deployment in support of California’s transportation electrification goals to mitigate climate change. The Senior Advisor will be serving as the contract administrator overseeing the TEF third-party implementor (Administrator).As a Senior Advisor , your work will help power our planet, reduce carbon emissions and create cleaner air for everyone. Are you ready to take on the challenge to help us build the future?A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!The eMobility Senior Advisor will sit within the eMobility PMO within the Customer Programs & Services division of Customer Service. Here, you will:

Execute and manage the contract with the Administrator, including but not limited to coordinating with the CPUC’s Energy Division, Investor-Owned Utilities, California Energy Commission (CEC), and other partners as needed to kick-off the program and achieve program objectives.

Monitor and evaluate the Administrator’s performance.

Conduct outreach to air districts and metropolitan planning organizations.

Develop and administer technical assistance programs and automated load management rebates, if directed by the CPUC.

Assure that any advice letters related to the TEF program are submitted.

Assure relevant data is collected for program evaluation.

Execute and manage other eMobility programs as needed.

Lead the development and execution of program implementation workplans

Provide leadership, direction, training and mentoring to junior staff

QualificationsThe essentials

10 or more years of experience planning, leading and implementing multiple cross-functional programs

Seven or more years of project management experience managing contracts, projects, or programs using tools, methods, and practices to establish, maintain and report budget, schedule, and/or status reporting

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

The preferred

Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, finance, engineering, management, or related field

Ability to clearly explain contract processes and term and conditions in succinct terms.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Knowledge in transportation electrification

Knowledge and experience with regulatory policies, regulatory agencies (i.e., CPUC, California Air Resources Board, CEC, etc.), and/or electric utilities

Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with business partners, cross-functional project teams, peers, all levels of management, and external partners

Strong ethics, influence and negotiation, leadership, interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively manage stress and multiple priorities

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Customer focused with the ability to understand and appropriately respond to customer’s business needs

Experience in identifying/managing risk and gaps and develop processes and tools to address them

This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
