Job DescriptionJoin the Clean Energy RevolutionBecome an eMobility Senior Advisor at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you will lead project execution for a portfolio of programs within SCE’s Charge Ready Light Duty (CRLD) Project Management Organization (PMO) supporting the adoption of light-duty electric vehicles. The CRLD PMO oversees a suite of rebate and infrastructure programs approved by the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) that are intended to accelerate electric vehicle adoption and add thousands of new electric vehicle charging stations in SCE’s territory in support of California’s transportation electrification goals to mitigate climate change.As an eMobility Senior Advisor , your work will help power our planet, reduce carbon emissions and create cleaner air for everyone. Are you ready to take on the challenge to help us build the future?A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!The eMobility Senior Advisor will sit within the eMobility PMO within the Customer Programs & Services division of Customer Service. Here, you will:

Lead the planning and management of program activities as well as partner with internal team members across multiple departments and representative from other utilities, communities, and regulatory agencies to achieve program objectives on time and within budget.

Execute strategies and administer the day-to-day activities for each of the CRLD programs to ensure customer applications are appropriately vetted and the various stages of projects are completed to drive the success of the programs.

Identify program risks and mitigation strategies, optimize pipeline management through continuous improvement initiatives, troubleshoot customer issues, provide timely deliverables, develop content for regulatory reporting, and communicate program status and updates to your respective program partners and customers.

Lead strategic initiatives as well as support eMobility’s leadership team in any special assignments.

Lead in the development and execution of program implementation workplans.

Provide recommendations to SCE’s leadership on shifts in strategy and approach to the light-duty programs to ensure success.

Provide leadership, direction, training and mentoring to junior staff.

QualificationsThe essentials

10 or more years of experience planning, leading and implementing multiple cross-functional programs

Seven or more years of project management experience managing contracts, projects, or programs using tools, methods, and practices to establish, maintain and report budget, schedule, and/or status reporting

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

The preferred

Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, finance, engineering, management, or related field

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Knowledge in transportation electrification

Knowledge and experience with regulatory policies, regulatory agencies (i.e., CPUC, California Air Resources Board, California Energy Commission, etc.), and/or electric utilities

Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with business partners, cross-functional project teams, peers, all levels of management, and external partners

Strong ethics, influence and negotiation, leadership, interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively manage stress and multiple priorities

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Customer focused with the ability to understand and appropriately respond to customer’s business needs

Experience in identifying/managing risk and gaps and develop processes and tools to address them

This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
