Whitemore James Black is a legal search firm. We are presently assisting our global law firm client on their search for a Payroll Specialist to join their San Francisco or Los Angeles office. This role is available immediately, and offers a base salary of up to $104K in San Francisco and $98K in Los Angeles. A comprehensive benefits package is also available for this role. This role is hybrid-remote.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of prior payroll experience. Prior law firm experience and an education in Finance, Accounting, or Business is helpful but not required. Experience handling payroll in multiple states is required for this role. The Payroll Specialist will primarily be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees across the US. The Payroll Specialist will also be responsible for ensuring that all requisite tax paperwork is complete and accurately reflected in the payroll system. A meticulous attention to detail is required for this role.
