Carousel School is located in the Los Angeles area near LAX airport. We are a Non-Public School with teaching positions available for individuals who enjoy a collaborative relationship with other enthusiastic educators and a skilled clinical staff. Our school includes students with a variety of disabilities, i.e. Autism, Celebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, ED, MR, etc., who are all encouraged to reach their highest possible potential with innovative therapeutic and creative teaching techniques. Our small class size and great staff to student ratios provide an ideal learning environment.
Requirements/Qualifications
California Education Specialist Credential (Lifetime) OR California Level II Education Specialist Instruction Credential with an area of specialization in Moderate/Severe Disabilities (M/S) OR California Preliminary Level I Education Specialist Credential with an area of specialization in Moderate/Severe Disabilities (M/S) OR Qualified to obtain California Provisional Internship Permit (PIP)
Must have Autism Authorization
