Description We are offering an exciting contract opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Los Angeles, California. This role is in the industry and involves tasks such as managing credit applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving inquiries. You will also be tasked with the monitoring of customer accounts and taking necessary actions. This position is ONSITE Downtown Los Angeles. If you are interested, we encourage you to apply today! Responsibilities: Efficiently and accurately handling the sorting, prioritizing, and processing of premium receipts. Carrying out data entry duties for assigned divisions. Maintaining the organization of accounting file systems through filing, scanning, and organizing. Upholding Federal and State laws and regulations in all tasks. Performing additional duties as needed to fulfill the association's mission, values, and strategic objectives. Utilizing skills in Data Entry, Microsoft Excel, Accounts Receivable (AR), and Billing to perform tasks efficiently and effectively.Requirements Possess at least one year of relevant experience in an Accounting Clerk role or similar Proficient in data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, vlookups, and other advanced functions Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) tasks, including invoicing, collections, and reporting Familiarity with billing procedures and practices, with the ability to handle complex billing issues Able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with internal teams and external clients Possess strong organizational and time management skills Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently High level of integrity and professionalism in handling confidential information Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
