Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Office Manager in Los Angeles, California. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing administrative issues, overseeing firm's activities, and handling accounting and financial management. This role spans across various verticals including human resources, technology, strategic planning, and contract management.Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the firm's activities and implement initiatives. Handle accounting and financial management tasks such as payroll, accounts receivable collections, bill payments, and maintaining firm’s books and records. Administer HR issues including maintaining records, tracking leave, onboarding new staff, conducting exit interviews, ensuring HR law compliance, staff hiring, coordinating performance appraisals, and managing benefit plans. Collaborate with IT director to maintain the firm’s software systems, network, internet, email, and telephones. Assist in formulating and implementing the firm's strategy and goals. Manage administrative issues such as office equipment, space planning, purchasing, and developing policies and procedures. Assist in maintaining, updating, and negotiating contracts for insurance, benefits, bank terms, and office lease/landlord issues. Attend partner meetings and retreats and assist in planning agendas for these meetings. Network with other firms, attend practice management conferences, and engage in detail oriented reading. Actively participate in the national association of CPA firm administrators. Utilize skills such as Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, Concur, CRM, Dentrix Dental Software, About Time, Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Answering Inbound Calls. Requirements Must hold a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as an Office Manager or similar role Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is necessary Experience with ADP - Financial Services is a must Familiarity with Concur software is required Knowledge and experience with CRM systems is essential Proficiency in Dentrix Dental Software is desirable Experience with 'About Time' software is advantageous Must be well-versed in handling Accounting Functions Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary Must be comfortable Answering Inbound Calls and managing communication effectively. Requirements 3+ years of experience in office management, HR, or a related field; prior experience in a tax or detail oriented services environment is a plus. Proven ability to create and sustain a positive, engaging workplace culture.
