The Front Desk Receptionist delivers customer service for all our patients and visitors in a welcoming environment. The receptionist works closely with patients, as well as the doctors and practitioners. They are responsible for maintaining and executing all front desk and runner duties, all while handling phone calls and checking in and out all patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
-Greet all patients arriving, approaching the desk and leaving the office.
-Answer multi-line phones with heavy call volume.
-Check in & check out patients, schedule future appointments.
-Appointments and scheduling: book, change, and cancel appointments; familiarity with scheduling and balancing multiple practitioner
schedules, including possible later patients.
-Perform other clerical/receptionist duties such as: filing & pulling patient files, photocopying and faxing.
-Maintain a clean front office, bathroom, and hallway – willing to vacuum, dust, etc.
-Take phone orders, submit prescriptions to pharmacy, and mail products.
-Assist RN in rooming patients, cleaning instruments and rooms once treatments have finished.

-Comfortable with numbers and calculating discounts and packages
-Greets patients, kind, observant, and contributes to office running
efficiently
-Good listener
-Able to explain common procedures or willing to learn
-Able to juggle phones, clients, and staff with a calm head
-Maintains customer confidentiality
-Comfortable with sales and collecting payments
-Has experience in using a point of sale program (we use Salon Ultimate)
2. Strong computer skills in Excel and Word
3. Physical Requirements – Lifting, bending, reaching, sitting, and kneeling
4. Dresses professionally
5. Dependable – works as scheduled, works on Sundays as arranged.
6. Extremely honest and reliable
7. Experience being a keyholder
