Job Title: Mobilehome Park Manager (Duo/Team of Two)

Compensation: Hourly wage plus housing Location: Bakersfield, CA

Job Overview: We are seeking a positive, friendly team of two for the position of Mobilehome Park Managers. This role is ideal for a couple looking to manage and maintain a mobilehome park together. We are looking for a team with strong people and customer service skills, and relevant experience. Experience in managing apartment complexes, mobilehome parks is preferred.

Responsibilities:

Office Manager Responsibilities:

Assist residents with their questions and concerns regarding the park.

Proficiency in Excel and Word, typing, scanning, emailing, and internet searching.

Manage rent collection, deposits. Experience with computerized billing systems, Rent Manager or Yardi. Collect and deposit rent and other property fees and pursue delinquent accounts as necessary. The company uses Rent Manager.

Work closely with Senior Property Manager reporting the property’s status, occupancy.

Review applications of potential tenants, assess applications per park requirements, and submit to Corporate for approval.

Maintain a line of communication with the Corporate Office/Senior Property Manager and provide detailed attention to tenant issues and questions.

Must have good verbal communication and interpersonal skills to meet with current tenants and applicants for tenancy. Spanish speaking is a plus.

Maintenance Manager Responsibilities:

Clean and maintain common areas, including light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks.

Inspect park property, arrange for necessary repairs.

Investigate and resolve property complaints, park rule violations, and overall dispute management between tenants.

Qualifications:

Experience: Experience in mobilehome park management or a related field required

Skills: Strong people and customer service skills, detail-oriented, organized, and self-starting.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in typing, scanning, emailing, and internet searching. Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Rent Manager Software. Experience with Rent Manager or similar property management required.

Driver’s License: Valid CA Driver’s License required.

Background Check: Applicants must pass a background check.

Training: Be available for virtual/remote training when scheduled.
