Starting Pay: $75,000 Annually + Benefits

The Regional District Manager is responsible for assisting the President and Vice President of ECMD Distribution in building and maintaining strong supplier-customer relationships within the Home Center or Retail Channel. The Regional Manager is responsible for the overall operational management of activities conducted by field service employees as well as the activities of customer service representatives. The Regional Manager is also responsible for working with the ECMD Distribution Director of Sales to execute sales initiatives with Specialty Products Retail Customers.

Essential Functions:

This position requires that the employee perform all essential duties as assigned by the President and/or

Vice President which shall include but is not limited to the following:

1. Creates and maintains a strong supplier-customer relationship within the Home Center Channel.

2. Gains market share with existing products by implementing new sales programs.

3. Solves problems at the corporate and ground level operations to promote sales.

4. Oversees the duties of the Regional Managers and District Regional Managers to ensure superior customer service and any other duties imperative to fulfilling the ECMD sales and service promise.

5. Assists with coordinating training schedules, training, support, and guidance to subordinate personnel to develop job skills.

6. Supports the CSR manager and CSR team with questions, problems, etc.

7. Keeps District Managers informed of ECMD policies, new sales programs, etc.

8. Ensures that Regional and District Regional Managers follow vehicle maintenance schedules, keeps the required vehicle records current, and provides frequent reminders of their safety obligations.

9. Plans and manages manpower needs and conducts orientation for new employees.

10. Develops cross-training with the area employees to establish efficiencies and continued operations during absences or vacations of employees.

11. Discusses with the Vice President of any employee disciplinary needs, promotions, or pay increases.

12. Maintains adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.

13. Ensures that all FSC certified products are handled according to ECMD and FSC policies.

14. Works with Logistics personnel in determining, planning and implementing delivery schedules.

15. Active in conducting and deploying market and price shops throughout the Home Center Channel.

16. Regular and punctual attendance is an essential function of this job.

17. Employee must proficiently read, speak and understand English.

Additional Responsibilities:

1. Works to maintain an established and proficient work force of District Managers and Territory Service Representatives.

2. Coordinates with and assists the President and/or Vice President with meetings as necessary.

3. Fills in for District Managers when required because of vacation, sick leave, etc.

4. Represents ECMD when dealing with customers in a courteous and professional manner.

5. Travels with Regional District Managers and District Managers biannually or as needed to monitor field activity.

6. Such other duties and assignments that shall be made from time to time to employee from any member of the Company's management

Requirements:

1. Regular and punctual attendance is an essential function of this job

2. Work weekends, and holidays when necessary.

3. Communicate and work with customers in a professional manner.

4. Good organizational and sequencing skills.

5. A valid and appropriate driver's license and an acceptable driving record.

6. Proficient use of a fax machine, copier, PDA's and computer.

7. Some overnight travel is required.

8. Able to do all the functions of a District Manager and the Territory Service Reps.

Physical Demands:

1. Requires ordinary conversation, hearing, and visual acuity.

2. Bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach repetitively.

3. Sit, stand, walk for prolonged periods (2 - 6 hours per day), and move about the office and customer facilities as necessary.

4. Repetitively lift and carry up to 75 pounds
