Construction Coordinator
Job Summary:
SEATEC Underground Utilities is a general engineering contractor based in Salinas, California. We are looking for a Construction Coordinator to provide support to our construction crews and coordination between the field, customers and administrative team. Applicants must be upbeat, friendly, and professional individuals. The development of good professional working relationships with customers and colleagues along with clear communications will be a pivotal requirement for the success of the position.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordination with PG&E inspections and communication of inspections with the construction team
Calling in and tracking Underground Service Alert notifications for all excavations
As-built documentation using BLUEBEAM software and coordination with PG&E review teams
Manage relationships between customers, utility representatives, and SEATEC departments
Manage and track schedules for utility tie-ins and completions
Qualifications:
Highly organized with an attention to detail
Excellent communication skills verbally and written
Ability to organize and prioritize projects
Timeliness, accountability and ability to meet deadlines is a must
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is a must
Knowledge using BLUEBEAM is a plus (training available)
Experience in construction industry is preferred, but not necessary
Valid CA driver’s license, clean driving record
Most importantly, you must have a positive and friendly attitude
