Description Job Title: Facilities Coordinator (Residential)Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Facilities Coordinator to oversee the maintenance and operations of our commercial facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure that our properties are well-maintained, safe, and provide a comfortable living environment for our residents. This role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to managing facilities-related issues.Responsibilities:Facilities Maintenance:

Coordinate and oversee all aspects of maintenance and repairs for residential properties.

Schedule and supervise routine maintenance tasks such as HVAC servicing, plumbing repairs, electrical work, and landscaping.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and address any issues in a timely manner.

Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Vendor Management:

Identify and engage reliable vendors, contractors, and service providers for facility maintenance and repair work.

Obtain quotes, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships to ensure quality work at competitive prices.

Monitor vendor performance and address any issues or concerns to ensure service level agreements are met.

Budget Management:

Assist in the development and management of the facilities budget, including forecasting expenses and tracking spending.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend strategies to optimize facility-related expenditures without compromising quality or safety.

Health and Safety Compliance:

Ensure residential facilities comply with all applicable health, safety, and building codes/regulations.

Implement and maintain safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and prevent accidents or injuries.

Coordinate inspections and audits to assess compliance with regulatory requirements and take corrective action as needed.

Resident Communication:

Serve as the primary point of contact for residents regarding facilities-related inquiries, requests, and concerns.

Communicate proactively with residents about upcoming maintenance activities, service disruptions, or other relevant information.

Foster positive relationships with residents and address their feedback or complaints in a professional and empathetic manner.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Proven experience in facilities management, property management, or a similar role.

Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and safety regulations.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with residents, vendors, and team members.

Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office, facility management software, and scheduling tools.

Ability to work independently, problem-solve effectively, and make sound decisions under pressure.

Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to facilities emergencies outside of regular business hours when necessary.
