Description Key Responsibilities:
Maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
Preparing journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and assisting with monthly close processes.
Contributing to the development and review of annual operating budgets and performance projections.
Managing the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
Ensuring compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.
Supporting in the preparation of audits and tax returns.
Developing financial reports to improve decision making and cost management.
Assisting the Finance Manager in presenting reports to senior executives, stakeholders, and board members.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
A minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in a similar role.
CPA or CMA designation is an asset.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with accounting software.
Strong understanding of bookkeeping procedures, tax issues and financial planning.
Excellent analytical skills, a thorough knowledge of accounting principles.
Superior attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent communication skills-written and verbal.
