SUMMARY: Responsible for managing the vendor contracting process; facilitates and coordinates the resolution of day-to-day issues regarding contracting and maintenance of vendor relationships. DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:NOTE:The following are the duties performed by employees in this classification, however, employees may perform other related duties at an equivalent level. Not all duties listed are necessarily performed by each individual in the classification. 1. Analyzes, maintains, negotiates and re-negotiates formal contractual relationships with Physician and physician groups.

Partners with Physician Contracts Analyst to request Fair Market Value (FMV) assessments and extract necessary data (such as performance and revenue data) to support FMV assessment.

Addresses opportunities for performance improvements related to physician contracts.

Interfaces and educates staff regarding physician contracting processes and requirements which supports the overall reduction of risk and cost of doing business; suggests alternative scenarios to resolve conflicts; facilitate resolution of issues between interested parties.

Manages portfolio of contracts; interface with AHS/AHP legal staff and work with business owners to review, negotiate, edit and execute contractual agreements.

Engages in RPF processes, Fair Market Value (FMV) analysis and other competitive price review activities as assigned.

Thoroughly analyzes the impact of language provisions; finalizes contract documents with appropriate summary information for executive decision and executionof agreements.

Works collaboratively with Medical Staff Office, Provider Enrollment, Finance, Legal, and Executive Suite personnel to complete contracting processes and to develop new, and improve current, processes to facilitate effective and efficient physician contracting workflows.

Performs other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Health Care Administration or related field. Preferred Education: Master’s degree.

Required Experience: Three years experience in a healthcare setting; one year of healthcare contract management or finance experience or other related field.
