Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and creative Event Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in hospitality and be passionate about culinary arts and possess expertise in various cooking techniques. You will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, menu planning, and ensuring high-quality food production for events AND at events.
Duties
-PRODUCING EVENTS!
-The primary duties is to help plan, prep + execute events. Ranging from drop offs to plated dinners to cocktail parties to large gala events.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain high standards
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Chef or similar role in a restaurant or catering environment
- Strong knowledge of various culinary styles and techniques
- Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve culinary excellence
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Understanding of menu planning, kitchen management, and food cost
- Certification from a culinary school or relevant field is a plus
