About the Role:Salesforce.com and Veeva Commercial Suite , are the engines running our commercial and customer service operations and are critical components of our software stack. As a member of the Business Applications leadership team, you will drive discussions with key business stakeholders to define and implement the vision and technical architecture for this operation. This role requires that you work onsite at our office in Palo Alto, CA in accordance with our hybrid policy.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Provide advise to business leaders, collaborate with key users, product management, business analysts and team members to understand the business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality, scalable technical solutionsLead solution design sessions with business partners and technical teams, helping to translate requirements/ business rules into detailed technical specificationsResponsibilities beyond development of software may include participation in component and data architecture design, technology planning, product evaluation, advanced testing processes and buy vs. build recommendationsProvide input to project plans related to the application development initiativesLead major projects/programs providing subject matter expertise and technical directionManage the implementation and maintenance of Salesforce configuration, custom objects, schema, and flows and their connections to our enterprise business platformsSummarize technical designs and changes to a non-technical audience while providing direction to the delivery teamCreate and ensure standards are followed to safeguard the integrity of the Salesforce instance and data flowing across system integrationsManage vendors and consultants as necessary
