We are looking for experienced, compassionate Scheduling Staffing Care Coordinator!
We are seeking an experienced "Star" caregiver who MUST HAVE the following
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Home Care:
· Schedule caregivers with clients
· Confirm schedules with caregiver’s & client’s
· Manage 60+ clients at a time
· Support interviewing and employee selection
· Client charting and system profile management
· Care documentation collection, review and filing
· Follow up with newly hired caregivers
· Complete phone & in person client intakes
· In person Caregiver / Client Introductions (out of the office / in the client’s home)
· Confirm and update caregiver’s availability schedules
· On-call rotation week nights and weekends
· Call clients & Caregiver weekly to ensure care / work is going well.
· Complete weekly projects and reports
· Assist weekly with orientation
· Assist with payroll processing
· Provide transportation to client’s & caregivers as needed in your personal vehicle
General / Administrative:
· Greet caregivers and assist with request and supplies
· Answer phones and direct calls as appropriate
· Prepare Care Management reports
· Produce paperwork as needed for client care and orientation
· Support Care Managers with duties as assigned
· Support Joint Commission and all applicable regulatory compliance requirements
Essential Job Requirements:
· High Volume / Fast Paced Scheduling/staffing experience
· Home care and administrative experience
· Excellent phone etiquette a MUST
· Excellent time management
· Excellent name recall
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Excellent documentation and detail orientation.
· Excellent computer skills
· Energetic, positive, friendly attitude
· Ability to take directions & follow through
· Ability to Fill-in as a Caregiver in emergency situation
Basic Qualifications:
· Associate college degree
· Senior Care / Caregiving experience a PLUS
· Pre-employment physical including negative TB skin test or chest X-ray
· Valid CA driver's license and clean driving record
· Working vehicle
· Must pass criminal background check (Livescan) with Home Care Services Bureau
· Must pass a drug screening
· Must be available to Cover On-call phone every 2 weeks
· Available for shared on-call support on evenings and weekends.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
· Very good computer skills (Internet, Microsoft Word and Excel), enabling preparation of documents, label generation, mailing lists, etc.
· Very good utilizing multi-line phone systems and office equipment (scanner, fax)
· Familiarity with (homecare) scheduling software is a big plus.
· Requires familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the home care field.

Ability to get in and out of a car multiple times a day during field visits.
