This role offers the chance to contribute to a dynamic team and gain valuable experience.Position Overview:As a Contract Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in processing accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, you will handle a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely payments and maintaining vendor relationships.Key Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable transactions accurately and in a timely manner
Match purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documents
Verify the accuracy of vendor invoices and payment details
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
Assist with month-end closing activities as needed
Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive relationships
Support audit requests and participate in process improvements
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
2+ years of experience in accounts payable or related role
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Prior experience in a contract or temporary position is a plus
