Description We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts receivable process, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, collections, and customer account maintenance.Responsibilities:
Generate and distribute accurate and timely customer invoices
Monitor accounts to ensure timely payment and follow up on past due balances
Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies as needed
Process customer payments and apply them to appropriate accounts
Investigate and resolve billing and payment issues or disputes
Communicate effectively with customers to address inquiries and provide assistance as needed
Collaborate with internal departments to resolve customer-related issues and improve billing processes
Prepare and analyze aging reports and other financial reports as requested
Assist with month-end close processes and other ad hoc projects as needed
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or related finance roles
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
