Company:Qualcomm IncorporatedJob Area:Finance & Accounting Group, Finance & Accounting Group > FinanceGeneral Summary: The Qualcomm Technology Licensing (QTL) finance team is seeking a Financial Analyst, Sr. QTL finance is responsible for forecasting the worldwide 3G/4G/5G device sales and Qualcomm's licensing revenue and P&L. As a member of the QTL finance team, you will provide financial and market analysis to help senior management make decisions. You will be a key contributor to the revenue forecasting process, supporting QTL's quarterly outlooks and earnings, annual Budget, long-term Strategic Plan, variance analysis, and numerous ad hoc projects.This is a substantial financial modeling role, with the main emphasis on forecasting global 3G/4G/5G adjacent markets (Internet of Things, Compute, Auto, Wearables, XR) sales and Qualcomm's licensing revenue and P&L. You will analyze data from historical trends, third party market research, and analyst reports to derive forecast assumptions and recommendations. This is a highly visible role and you will be expected to present and articulate forecast assumptions to senior management. A successful candidate will be self-motivated, someone that produces an accurate work product in a fast-paced environment, and focuses on ways to automate and improve processes.Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree. 3+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience.Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.Preferred Qua lifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field.
5+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience.
Ideal candidate will have prior work experience in the wireless/telecommunications industry. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage various projects under strict deadlines. Self-starter with strong analytical skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. Knowledge of Cognos TM1 and Tableau a plus.
