We are currently seeking talented individuals for our Machinery Sales Support specialist position! Here is some of what you’ll do… The Machinery Sales Support Specialist will support the Machinery Sales operations of the company by managing and directing repairs, invoicing, recording sales with CAT, managing the ordering and shipping logistics of new inventory, the rental fleet, and sold machines, and supervising the Service Support yard personnel. ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions:

Oversees and ensures timely and accurate delivery and pick-up of equipment by collaborating with the Service Shop and haulers.

Checks for damage on machines, coordinates with the Service Shop for equipment follow-up, and assesses appropriate level of repairs needed to accomplish department financial goals and customer satisfaction.

Manages the Service Support Team which includes providing constructive and timely performance evaluations.

Manages the check-out process, physical inventory counts, and conducts audits to minimize inventory loss.

Manages and directs all of the daily operations of the Machinery Sales yard.

Assesses and oversees the execution of fleet maintenance requirements in accordance with department profit and customer goals.

Resolves product and service problems by researching the situation, identifying alternate means of filling customer needs, and recommending solutions.

Assists with the level, mix, and pricing of the company’s Machinery Rental fleet.

Orders machines for the Rental fleet and customer purchases.

Manages and evaluates vendors to ensure products and services can be delivered in compliance with company and customer requirements.

Partners with freight forwarders and haulers to ensure machines are delivered on time and strategizes and identifies other options if delays occur.

Maintains customer satisfaction by establishing rapport with customers and others in a position to help meet customer needs.

Creates and invoices customers’ sales and RPO billings.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Other duties as assigned.

QualificationsEducation, Experience, and Skills Required:

Must have at least two years experience in sales within the earthmoving industry.

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Proactive and good communication skills.

Must have a positive attitude and be a self-starter.

Must be organized and a good planner.

Ability to set and meet goals.

Experience with Microsoft Office.

College Degree preferred.

PC skills required.

Must have a valid California Class C Driver’s License and a clean driving record

Physical Demands:

Walking and moving about on foot often up and down stairs.

Handling: Works with hands.

Lifting: May lift up to 25 lbs.

Reaching: Extends hands and arms in any direction.

Stooping: Bends body downward and forward by bending at knees or waist.

Standing: Remains in standing position if required to perform various functions of the job.

Vision: Reads computer screens and paperwork.

Talking: Communicates via telecommunications and in person.

Sitting: Sits at desk. Sits for long periods of time.

Climbing: Climbs on and off earthmoving machines.

Environmental:

Noise: Works in conditions with constant or intermittent noise.

Temp/Weather: Works in a warehouse and outside with variations of temperature and weather.
