You will work in a supportive, respectful environment that has been repeatedly recognized as one of the nation’s Top 100 Places to Work.The Scripps New Graduate Registered Nurse (RN) Residency Training Program is a program specifically designed for new graduate nurse orientation, with the goal of creating standardized practice and facilitating role transition in the clinical environment. Clinical Coach and Preceptor RNs provide education, coaching, and mentoring to new graduate RNs during a 40-week period to develop their competence, confidence, critical thinking, and documentation skills. New graduates in the program are trained as a collective group in various units. Upon successful completion of the program, nurses will be placed in a position within the Scripps system.This program requires that you are available to work periods of both day and night shifts.Program Dates: March 25, 2024 - December 28, 2024

ACLS from the American Heart Association may be required for selected units

Minimum Qualifications

To be eligible to apply, new grads must have:

Completed an accredited nursing program within the last year at the date of application

Six (6) months or less of RN experience at date of application for the program
