We have a full time position available cleaning and maintaining a fleet of sailboats for the premier San Diego sailing school and sailboat rental company. Candidates need excellent customer service skills as you will be interacting with Club members and boat renters on a daily basis, assisting members preparing boats for departure and docking and servicing boats upon their return. Hours are 8:30 to 5 Tuesday through Saturday with overtime available during the summer sailing season. Weekend availability is a must. Sailboat or powerboat experience is a plus but not necessary, we will train successful applicants. Summary This position is located in the Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Department of Commander Navy Region Southwest (CNRSW). The primary purpose of this position is to ensure, through working and supervising construction and maintenance personnel in the safe and efficient construction and repair of recreational and athletic facilities. Responsibilities Assists in the design and supervises the construction of various projects. Performs work related to the operation, minor construction, repair and maintenance of facilities and property. As a working supervisor, assists and directs the activities of subordinate construction crew engaged in performing a variety of craft s and trades related to general construction and repair of various recreational and athletic facilities.
