HOW YOU WILL IMPACT OUR MISSION The Systems Engineer will help build out, maintain, and troubleshoot our rapidly expanding infrastructures. This position reports to the Systems Engineering Manager.WHAT YOU WILL DO

Manage, administer, patch/update, monitor, and support Nutanix, Veeam, Windows, Linux and O365 server infrastructure and employ analytical skills to assess and correct server related problems or outages.

Monitor and resolve disruptions, outages, security violations, and attacks on server related devices and services and assess and maintain network and system security, analyze and correct system issues and error logs.

Design, test, and deploy new systems, applications, and networks, including installing operating systems, database, and productivity applications. Make recommendations for future system upgrades and develop a hardware upgrade protocol.

Assess and diagnose system performance by applying experience-based discretion to direct corrective action to increase efficiency and optimization.

Define, create and maintain system policies, comprehensive server diagrams and documentation for support personnel and contribute to policy development, procedures and technical reports associated with operating and maintaining the system state and the server infrastructure.

Implement and maintain server backup/recovery processes.

Develop and implement project plans to support strategic infrastructure related initiatives

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Preferred candidate with PowerShell experience.

JOB EXPERIENCE

3+ years' experience supporting a enterprise systems infrastructure

2+ years' experience with, Azure/Entra, O365/M365

Experience with Nutanix, Veeam preferred

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent specialized training required.

Drivers License

Current Microsoft, VMware (or other virtual hyper-converged technology certifications), and Azure Solution certifications (AZ-303 or higher).
