Find your future with us.The V-22 Operations Specialist will serve in a role for various V-22 Field Operations activities. RAA will evolve over time and be primarily based on direct support for V-22 Field Ops Site Leaders. Candidate works closely with GTO Program Integration Team to support and standardize proposal inputs, technical evaluations, Project Liftoff activities and Prime engagement. Candidate will be expected to interface with Program leadership, PMA-275, Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and GTO Leadership on a regular basis to synchronize and improve business offerings and position V-22 team for future work. Provides expertise towards process improvements, financial objectives, technical approaches and resource utilization. Understands contractual language and requirements to ensure compliance and execution. Understands dynamic V-22 customer needs as they relate to GTO strategic levers and execution.This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the San Diego, CA. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.Position Responsibilities:

The V-22 Senior Operations Specialist operates in a fluid, fast paced environment supporting site leaders in highly complex and multi organizational customer environments to deliver against contractual requirements and mission execution.

As a successful candidate you will be embedded within a Performance Based environment working alongside peers, teams and customers in dynamic and operationally focused atmosphere.

Working within a multifaceted stakeholder landscape and with often immature, developing and changing requirements, you will be expected to provide guidance to leadership in support of agile business model

Your advocacy and knowledge will be vital in helping the customer achieve their business objectives

You will act as ambassador for The Boeing Company at appropriate client organization levels (grade dependent) and will be responsible for generating full or elements of, execution solutions in line with the contractual requirements.

You will be an energetic self-starter with the correct aptitude and attitude that can build enduring customer intimacy and high performing teams within an exciting and demanding arena

You will be experienced within the delivery of small to medium size projects or work packages, metrics and requirements based on One BPS and Field Operations processes

Develops solutions to unique challenges that may serve as precedent for future decisions.

Act as an experienced V-22 Modification & Maintenance proposal/technical for execution teams in partnership with Program Integration Team

Works to improve OneBPS processes and business systems that support vertical and capability decision makers. Completely understands and applies job practices, techniques, standards, principles, and concepts.

Receives general direction for work that is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives. Participates in determining objectives of assignment; plans, schedules, and arranges own activities to accomplish those objectives.

Exerts some influence on the overall objectives, tactical and strategic goals of the organization. Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve objectives typically have a serious effect upon the administration of the organization.

Supports V-22 Senior Leader with on-condition projects related to broad spectrum of topics, including proposals, staffing, site leader bandwidth, metrics, technical projects, training, standardization projects, CAM duties & various non-recurring initiatives

Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

5+ years of experience leading or managing integrated technical projects or teams across multiple organizations

5+ years of experience in aviation or aviation related activities

3+ years of experience working on government proposals, to include Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) compliant proposals

5+ years of experience working with aircraft maintenance and/or modifications

3+ years of experience in applying Earned Value Management (EVM) methodology and analysis

Willing and able to travel both domestically and internationally 50% of the time

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Experience with 4790.2 Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP)

1+ years’ experience with V-22 aircraft maintenance and/or modifications

Experience with Field Service and/or Modification leadership

Experience with Military Program Support

Bachelor's degree in related technical field
