We are a successful, and established French Bakery and Café seeking a passionate and experienced Brunch Sous Chef to join our team at our Downtown location. We are looking to add culinary power to our current team and keep on working together to provide a wonderful brunch lunch to our French establishment

Our ideal candidate has a French culinary. background, history of experience working in fast paced, alone or with a team and a relentless passion to provide an exceptional customer experience.Experience in the front of the house is a plus.

Benefit:

Starting pay $20/hrs which brings to about $25-$28/hours with CC tips and cash tips

30-35hrs/week

Job Description :

· Assist Café Manager on the day to day operation of the café

· Assist in menu development with Executive Chef

· Responsible for Kitchen inventory and orders to predetermined product specifications and received in correct unit count.

· Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection. Report If equipment not working

· Ensure the kitchen is fully equipped in small equipment.

· Responsible for maintaining appropriate cleaning schedules for kitchen floors, mats, walls, other equipment and food storage areas.

· Establishes control to minimize food and supply waste and theft

· Assure consistency and high quality in Food coming out of the kitchen and minimize food costs; exercises portion control for all items served and assists in establishing menu selling prices.

· Train new team member

· Perform other duties as directed such as helping FOH if needed

· Ensure a safe working environment and attitude on the part of all employees in areas of responsibility.

Job Qualification

· 3+ years of experience in restaurants

· Strong leadership skills.

· Have a Manager SD Food handler card

· Possess strong organizational and decision-making skills.

· Work well in fast-paced setting.

· Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively.

· Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.

· Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.

· Must have exceptional hygiene and grooming habits

· Must have reliable transportation.
