Johnson Service Group, a nationally award-winning staffing firm, is looking to hire a detail-oriented and experienced Automotive Contracts Clerk for a growing dealership.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately managing and processing automotive sales contracts. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review and process all sales contracts and related documents for accuracy and completeness.
Ensure all contracts comply with dealership policies, state regulations, and legal requirements.
Process used and new car contracts and related vehicle sales documentation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Process dealer trades, pay off used car flooring, and electronic funding transactions (EFTs).
Provide timely and accurate reports as required.
Reconcile sales commissions and accounting schedules relating to car sales.
Verify the costs and transactions for each vehicle sale.
Submit for manufacturer rebates and maintain a heat sheet.
Collect vehicle receivables.
Post lender reserves payment.
Process all courtesy deliveries.
Respond to customer inquiries.
Maintain general ledger schedules weekly.
Maintain gross log daily.
Follow up on trade payoffs and titles on trades.
Reconcile service contract and aftermarket monthly statements.
Communicate with sales, finance, and management teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to contracts.
Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation for audits and internal reviews.
Provide administrative support to the finance and sales departments as needed.
Stay updated on changes in state and federal regulations regarding automotive sales contracts.
Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED.
Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
Previous experience or education in DMV processes.
Ability to handle high-volume, fast-paced work environment.
Willingness to take initiative and ability to work independently within a team environment.
Ability to perform job responsibilities and meet deadlines easily.
