Import/Export clerk -Office position (Otay Mesa, CA)

This position is part of an in-office team responsible for processing documentation, providing information to clients, and dealing with U.S. Customs and other government agencies, in order to facilitate the entry of goods from Mexico into the U.S.

Qualifications:

- Both spoken and written English and Spanish are required due to our client base.

- Computer literate (Google Work Space: email, internet, excel type documents, data input)

- Experience in import/export operations helpful, but willing to train the right person

- Basic math skills

- Focused, detail oriented, and organized

- Able to meet deadlines

- Critical thinking/ problem solving with minimal supervision

- Self motivated but must work well with others

The job involves document review, computer data input, and communicating by telephone and email within the company, with customers, and government agencies.
