Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Property Accountant in San Francisco, California. In this role, you will have a crucial part in managing and overseeing the financial and accounting aspects of various properties. This includes tasks such as processing financial data, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.Responsibilities: Accurately process and manage all accounting operations, including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Revenue Recognition for various properties. Prepare financial forecasts and budgets, and report any variances timely. Generate monthly financial statements in a timely manner. Ensure preparation of regulatory reports is coordinated and completed. Develop and keep up-to-date all necessary financial procedures to ensure effective fund management. Oversee and reconcile bank statements and balance sheets promptly. Analyze data to identify areas of revenue generation and loss. Create weekly, monthly, and periodic operational result reports for use by key stakeholders, highlighting findings and suggesting improvement solutions. Maintain and establish fiscal files and records to document transactions. Requirements Possession of a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field. Minimum of two years of experience in property accounting. Proficiency in using Abila MIP software. Comprehensive understanding of property accounting principles and practices. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Experience in preparing financial reports and statements. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Proven record of integrity and ethical conduct.
