Senior Accountant (Financial Services) We are seeking a experienced Senior Accountant with a focus on Financial Services to join our team. In this role, you will be required to oversee advanced accounting operations in accordance with the financial regulations of our industry. You will be responsible for generating reports, reconciling accounts, and maintaining an accurate reflection of the company’s financial state. We expect the successful candidate to have considerable experience in financial services, possess a keen eye for detail, and have excellent leadership and organizational skills to help ensure the company's financial growth and compliance. Responsibilities: Prepare financial statements, and make certain they are compliant with all laws and regulations. Perform advanced accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial recording and error-free transactions. Oversee financial transactions and process invoices, accounts payable and receivable, payroll to ensure high-level accuracy. Analyze complex financial reports and render the results for management. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns. Develop and maintain strong internal controls over accounting processes. Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures. Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews. Work collaboratively with other departments and liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.Requirements In office three days a week, two days remote for this Hybrid role. Qualifications: Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Have a CPA license preferred, but not mandatory. Proven experience as a Senior Accountant, ideally within a financial services setting. Have proficient knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations. High-level computer skills in Microsoft Office, accounting software, and databases. Have the ability to work well under pressure within tight deadlines. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
