Description We are seeking a Sr. Accountant to join our team in the IT Software industry based in San Francisco, California. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including month-end close, reconciliations, and maintaining SOX controls. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up to date. Carry out reconciliations of accounts to maintain accurate financial records. Enforce and maintain SOX controls to ensure compliance with regulations. Respond to ad hoc tasks and projects as they arise, demonstrating flexibility and problem-solving skills. Utilize your skills in Accounts Payable (AP) to manage and monitor customer accounts, taking appropriate action when necessary.
