Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Office Manager in San Jose, California. The role will be primarily responsible for general office duties in a fast-paced environment (Medical Device company). As the Office Manager, you will have an essential role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, supporting management, and interacting with clients.Responsibilities: Manage office supplies and handle shipping/receiving related tasks. Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, and managing inbound calls. Utilize MS Office and Microsoft Outlook for various tasks including preparing presentations and extracting data/files. Support leadership by preparing binders for clients and assisting in administrative tasks. Greet clients and manage customer inquiries, ensuring a high level of customer service. Maintain and monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary. Use administrative skills to ensure the smooth operation of the office. Restock office supplies as needed to maintain a well-organized work environment. Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.Requirements Minimum of one year experience in a similar role as an Office Manager Proficiency in MS Office and Microsoft Outlook Experience in answering inbound calls Demonstrated ability in office administration Experience in ordering and restocking office supplies Proven administrative skills and experience in providing administrative assistance High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree in a relevant discipline will be appreciated Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems and procedures Familiarity with email scheduling tools Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
