Nanny/Family Assistant for UHNW Family Santa Barbara
Monday through Friday with flex if possible for weekend when necessary
Salary Up to $50 - $60 an hour DOE
Family support role: seeking a wonderful, warm, efficient, and responsible child care provider for two children (ages 3 and 5) who can further support the family and household five days a week with the flexibility of weekend days . Discretion is a must for the safety and security of the children and family.
Key Responsibilities include:
School drop off or pick up
Potty training support
Play dates & local outings for the children
Extra curricular activities (tennis, ballet, etc)
Snack or meal prep if needed
Comfort in doing bath and bedtime routine
Mgmt of children’s daily schedule
Additional support for the family includes :
Staff mgmt (sole point of contact for house team- housekeeping, groundskeeper, chef)
Spot checks to support the hospitality of the residence and guide the household team
Pet care
Dog walking
House sitting/ pet sitting when the family travels
Support on family vacations as needed (minimal)
Dry cleaning maintenance (logging, pick up and drop off)
Inventory and restocking support for housekeeping
Grocery shopping
Light prep/cooking for lunch if needed
This role will work with the support of a dedicated team, and in tandem with a long time beloved employee who will be returning from maternity leave and shifting into a broader scope of focus to allow for more off site hours and time with her baby. While some responsibilities may overlap and be shared, please note that this role is the SOLE point of contact for staff.
Hours to be considered:
1130am-730pm weekdays (this would provide school pick up support at 1230pm for younger child and 3pm for older child.
