Salary: $20 to $24 hourly, based on experience
Job Description: We are seeking a highly-organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to join our team in a small trucking office. The ideal candidate is proficient in bookkeeping, administrative tasks, and possesses excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable: Processing invoices and making payments.
Accounts Receivable: Process payments as received, prepare bank deposits.
Bank Reconciliations: Perform regular bank reconciliations.
Mail & Errands: Sort and distribute mail, and run errands such as trips to the post office as needed.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
o Prior bookkeeping experience.
o Familiarity with QuickBooks, Excel, and Word.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to go up and down stairs, and occasionally run errands that may require physical activity.
Valid driver's license
