If you want to work beyond the cutting-edge, continuously pushing the boundaries of science and engineering to make possible the next generations of technology, join us to Make Possible a Better Future.Key ResponsibilitiesThe Technical Project Manager (TPM) drives the projects from conception and planning to implementation and is responsible for managing and communicating project requirements, preparing Work Breakdown Structures, project schedules, release trackers, budgets, risk assessments, and project reports / dashboards to project stakeholders. Projects are diverse and can include new product introductions (NPI), R&D, continuous improvements (CIP) and standard system orders.

Manages project schedule and task details by utilizing project management tools such as reports, tracking charts, checklist and project scheduling software.

Collaborates with and organizes highly skilled mechanical, electrical, process and software engineers (internal resources), and on some occasion, external partners towards meeting project timelines and project requirements. Additional internal cross-functional partners include Marketing, Operations, Field Support, Safety, Legal, Facilities, and HR.

Continuously looks to identify project execution gaps and develops and implements solutions while keeping projects on-track and on budget.

Provides engineering and business process expertise to team and other members on various standard programs / issues.

Coordinate and host the design reviews and alignment meetings to achieve the planned project/product development schedule.

Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) that geared towards improving project quality, lead time and cost

The TPM is part of a multi-disciplinary team, making up the Project Management Office for the Applied Materials Display CVD organization. We are looking for someone who has the enthusiasm and skillset to collaborate with stakeholders to identify project delivery pain points and to maximize their output with project management solutions. Because Applied Materials is a global organization and have offices in varying time zones, flexibility to accommodate conference calls across varying time zones is expected. Travel is expected to be minimal.Key Qualifications

Excellent communication and organizational skills are mandatory.

Familiarity with semiconductor/display equipment product development methodologies, including phase gate product development process.

Experienced with managing physical product releases. Demonstrated ability to drive and track design releases to aggressive schedules.

Proven track record of managing multiple projects concurrently.

Seasoned in project management basics including requirements definition, scheduling, task tracking, risk management, and cross-functional communication.

Experienced with project management tools, including Smartsheet, MS Teams, and SharePoint.

Experienced with PLM tools, including Teamcenter.

Familiarity with ERP systems, including SAP.

Demonstrated ability to manage accountability without authority.

Ability to lead focused and efficient meetings.

PMI project management certification or equivalent preferred.

Requirements

BS degree in a technical field.

6+ years of experience as a dedicated project manager for a technical team of Subject Matter Experts.

9+ years of experience in a technical role as part of a product development team.
