Description My client is looking to onboard an Accounts Payable Clerk in their SANTA MONICA, California office. The individual will play a vital role in maintaining financial records including purchases, receipts, and payments. This role primarily involves working with the accounts payable ledger and involves tasks such as account reconciliation, invoice processing, and communication with internal and external vendors.Responsibilities: Ensure accurate and efficient processing of accounts payable transactions. Carry out account reconciliation tasks to maintain accurate financial records. Manage vendor relationships effectively and professionally. Conduct regular check runs to ensure timely payments. Code invoices accurately to ensure proper record-keeping. Implement 3-way matching for invoices to prevent discrepancies.Requirements An Associates or Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 2+ years of experience, or if no degree a minimum of 5 years experience in an Accounts Payable role Extensive knowledge and experience with Accounts Payable (AP).
