We are looking for a talented and experienced attorney to partner with our agency teams on deals and strategy with advertising agencies.This role provides a unique opportunity to guide our ads business in establishing, maintaining, and expanding relationships with key advertisers and agencies. You will negotiate advertising agreements, structure new deal models, and guide business leaders in delivering results for our advertising and agency customers.This position requires great judgment, backbone, and common sense, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills, and great attention to detail. We are looking for candidates who are innovative, extremely hands-on, and customer-obsessed.Key job responsibilities

Support a wide range of advertising contracts touching numerous industries

Support business leaders in maintaining and expanding relationships with advertising agencies

Interact daily with sales leaders, policy experts, and product and tech teams

Manage outside counsel

Contribute to regulatory, press, and other external inquiries and engagements

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Arlington, VA, USA | New York, NY, USA | San Francisco, CA, USA | Santa Monica, CA, USA | Seattle, WA, USABasic Qualifications

J.D. and membership in good standing in at least one U.S. state bar

10+ years of legal experience as a transactional attorney

Prior experience as counsel for an advertising agency

Prior experience advising on advertising deals, technology transactions, or other sales functions

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to demonstrate sound judgment in ambiguous situations

Ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a large number of projects at once, follow through, and meet deadlines

Team player and consensus builder who can effectively collaborate and build relationships with attorneys and business leaders throughout the organization

Business acumen combined with the ability to identify optimal solutions, including novel, creative, and innovative solutions to complex issues

Strong analytical and communication skills

Some ability to travel as needed

The base pay for this position ranges from $146,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $272,500/year in our highest geographic market.
