Description A large e-commerce enterprise is in search of a dynamic Senior Visual UI Designer to join their Brand Design Team in Santa Monica, CA. This role requires close collaboration with creative directors, senior designers, writers, producers, and marketing professionals to craft outstanding, customer-led brand experiences impacting millions worldwide. The Senior Visual UI Designer should be adept at working hands-on, conceptualizing, and transforming interactive experiences within a larger team on behalf of a large brand.Role: Senior Visual UI DesignerLocation: Santa Monica, CA (75% remote, 25% onsite)Duration: 6-month contract Pay Rate: $65-$75/hourResponsibilities:
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design innovative, customer-centric brand experiences across various marketing channels.
Adhere to established brand guidelines and contribute to or develop brand guidelines as needed.
Design transformative interactive experiences through front-end user interfaces, narrative storytelling, systems thinking, prototyping, and production-ready assets.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of motion-related design elements.
Quickly discern project needs, respond to creative briefs with fresh ideas, and develop strategic design systems.
Present work professionally, showcasing enthusiasm for inspired creativity and logical thinking.
Work independently, showing comfort with ambiguity, a bias for action, and strong communication and organizational skills.
Utilize an advanced understanding of design fundamentals related to typography, grid, layout, and accessibility.
Requirements
Requirements:
6+ years of design industry experience at an agency or in-house creative team
Proficiency in Figma, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote
Strong grasp of the creative process, from ideation to implementation
Experience with systematic brand and identity development across multiple touchpoints
Examples of product/UI/UX design as the primary designer (must attach portfolio)
Proven collaboration with other designers, researchers, product managers, and engineers
Exceptional communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
