We are currently seeking a confident, self-motivated individual in a pivotal role for a full-time Accounting Manager in our Walnut Creek office! You will be working under the CFO and alongside several of our teams to provide accounting support and expertise across our various sister companies including Commercial Brokerage and Real Estate Development and Investment Divisions. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Independently owning the close process (JE preparation, account reconciliations) for various Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounts including cash, operating expenses, and accruals
Accounts Receivable
Accounts Payable
Payroll
Creating and tracking construction draws
Sending wires and ACH’s
Bank deposits
Bank reconciliations
Sorting and scanning mail for remote offices
Reviewing and creating interest calculations and allocating to various projects
Providing support for internal partners
Assisting in various other tasks as needed
This position requires you to be in our office full-time; this is not a remote position.
Please see below recommended qualifications:
Experience in Quickbooks required
BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Accounting Certification such as CPA or EA or currently on-track to receive Certification.
5+ years accounting experience required
Real Estate background a plus
You must be capable of completing journal entries effortlessly and understand how all journal entries effect other areas of accounting
Meticulous with details
Strong problem solving & interpersonal communication skills
Ability to set priorities, handle multiple tasks, and deliver results in a fast paced and dynamic environment
Ability to ask questions but confident enough to work independently under minimal supervision
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
