Staff Accountant
NOA Construction LLC is currently looking for a full-time Staff Accountant. We are a high-end residential design and construction management company. Please see responsibilities listed below. We are looking for someone who is ambitious, eager to learn and take on more tasks! This position has high growth potential! Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's abilities, talents and experience. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s abilities, talents and experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accounts Payable
Setup of new projects
Monitor company credit cards reconciliations on weekly basis.
Assist in monthly bank reconciliation and resolve open bank issues and discrepancies
Assist with monthly/quarterly/yearly closing process. Support accounting team to meet deadlines.
Provide excellent accounting service to Accounting and Project Management Departments. Communicate with co-workers, management, clients and vendors in a courteous and professional manner.
Other ad-hoc projects assigned by Executive Team.
Accounts Receivable and Daily Cash
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent in Accounts Payable job experience.
Experience in Construction or related field such as Engineers, Architecture, etc. is require.
Experience with Quickbooks required.
Proficient in Windows, other Microsoft Office suite software: Word, Excel (medium to advanced level) etc.
Excellent references from previous employers.
Must be able to work independently.
Must be very detail oriented and organized.
Must be able to work on many different projects at one time.
Must have strong communication skills.
