Schedule: Mondays through Fridays, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm; occasional later night for a date night
Children: 4 month old girl (at start time in September)
Duties: Childcare, child's laundry, light housekeeping, purchasing children's items, errands, cooking for child, traveling with the family
Requirements: The ideal candidate has extensive experience with babies and toddlers, displays a kind, nurturing, and calm demeanor, and enjoys taking the baby on outings, to classes, and various activities. The candidate must possess an open and direct communication style, be receptive to feedback, and feel comfortable addressing any concerns or issues with the parents. Privacy and discretion are extremely important to the family. The ability to travel domestically and internationally for up to six weeks at a time is required. It is also essential for the candidate to respect the space and time the parents want with baby. Must have or be willing to obtain vaccinations, including COVID-19, annual flu shots, Tdap, and MMR. A driver with access to a car for use on the job is required. Additionally, the candidate must be comfortable with parents being at home and like dogs.
Salary: $38-$42 per hour; plus guaranteed pay 52 weeks of the year, six paid holidays, five paid sick days, two weeks paid vacation and a medical insurance stipend.
Requirements: Recent, long-term, professional (paid) experience with children, ideally as a Nanny in a private home with excellent references. Long-term teaching experience with children and recent & substantial work doing in-home childcare for a family may also qualify.
