Schedule: Monday through Friday, 45 to 50 hours per week between 7:30 am and 6:00 pm; ability to shift hours to staring and working later once a week or every other week for a date night required.
Children: 6 month old girl and 3 year old boy
Duties: Childcare, planning age appropriate activities, and supporting the children’s development, child related cooking and laundry, light housekeeping, packing for trips and traveling with the family a few times a year (primarily domestic travel), family's laundry a plus
Requirements: This family is seeking an experienced nanny to care for their two children to collaborate with hands-on parents who work from home. The ideal candidate has a calm, positive demeanor; is proactive, conscientious and collaborative, is familiar with Montessori and/or RIE methods and will structure play around the children’s interests. Must have or be willing to obtain vaccinations including COVID, flu, Dtap and MMR, and be comfortable traveling for three or four weeks out of the year. Family intends to get a dog in 2-3 years, so must be comfortable with dogs
Salary: $35-$45 per hour; plus guaranteed pay 52 weeks of the year, two weeks paid vacation, five paid sick days and seven paid holidays.
Requirements: Recent, long-term, professional (paid) experience with children, ideally as a Nanny in a private home with excellent references. Long-term teaching experience with children and recent & substantial work doing in-home childcare for a family may also qualify.
