Schedule: Monday through Friday, 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm; Family appreciates a Candidate who can work occasional weekend hours with advance notice
Children: 5 year old with special needs
Duties: Childcare, mobility help, personal hygiene care, child's laundry, light housekeeping
Requirements: Ideal Candidate is patient, responsible, and has some experience caring for children with special needs. Candidate who has experience working with non verbal or mobility impaired individuals is a bonus. Candidate must be able to move and transfer child as needed from the wheelchair, attend to child's personal hygiene, and administer medication to child. Candidate must be willing to learn to work with a G tube, suction machine, and other equipment based on child's special needs. Candidate must be comfortable with parents working from home and must have or be willing to obtain an up-to-date COVID vaccination.
Salary: $35-$40 per hour plus benefits: guaranteed pay 52 weeks per year, paid vacation time, paid sick time, paid holidays, mileage reimbursement, monthly medical stipend
Requirements: Recent, long-term, professional (paid) experience with children, ideally as a Nanny in a private home with excellent references. Long-term teaching experience with children and recent & substantial work doing in-home childcare for a family may also qualify.
