Hi there!
My name is Lauren and I am looking for an affectionate, organized, and high energy family assistant to care for my four year old and help manage my household in Novato, CA.
About Us:
Single queer mom working as a consciousness guide & psychedelic integrationist seeks a feminist, attentive child caregiver and family helper!
My daughter is with me 75%. We’re looking for a North-Bay Based person to drive household tasks as well as fully serve as one of her main caregivers.
Responsibilities:
Coming up with age appropriate, play-based activities
Preparing healthy meals
Driving child to and from school, activities, between households (Marin <> SF)
Bedtime routine for child, occasionally staying late into the evening
Full tidy of all child items at the end of day
Daily household tasks: sorting mail, taking out trash, watering plants, folding laundry, etc.
Household errands: grocery shopping, returns, picking up speciality items, etc.
Requirements:
College educated with a focus on child development, psychology, or a related field
Experienced child caregiver with familiarity with conscious parenting principles
Strong-bodied (can easily lift 40lbs)
Reliable vehicle and clean driving record
Excellent communicator; technologically savvy; detail oriented, organized, and efficient
Advanced systems-thinker: ability to recognize patterns and understands how any one thing impacts the whole
Bonus if you currently work in a daycare or preschool
Double bonus if you are interested in occasional overnights, trips or travel
BACKGROUND CHECK WILL BE REQUIRED
Hours and Commitment:
8-15 hrs / week
8 hrs / week recurring in afternoon
2 evenings / week
Flexibility for 2-7 additional weekly hours, including some weekend availability, is ideal
Hourly Pay: $40 / hour
