Who You Are
The Production Manager is a hands-on leader responsible for overseeing all Production Kitchen staff, managing daily operations of the Production Kitchen, and creating an environment that exceeds operational expectations while holding staff to professional standards. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a production kitchen facility, have a strong food background, and experience working with sophisticated cooking equipment. They must be able to ensure all safety/sanitation procedures are strictly followed, provide leadership to the Production Kitchen team, and have a strong Operations background (including scheduling, inventory, and food quality).

Qualified candidates will have these key skills:
Management Experience in a Production Kitchen Facility
Extensive food knowledge and production food service experience, including working with:
Intelligent multifunctional cooking systems (Combi Oven, Rational iVaro)
Rack ovens (e.g. Revent oven)
Tilt skillets
Cryovac machines
Blast chillers, and more!
Ability to adhere to and develop recipes with Culinary Director/Production Staff
HACCP experience (certified preferred) + ServSafe Certified
Leadership and Team Building skills
Ability to maintain composure under deadlines
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Strong computer skills, including experience with inventory management systems
Must have or be able to obtain Forklift Certification upon hire
Must have a valid CA Driver's License with a clean DMV record and be able to occasionally drive the Production Delivery truck as needed
Have a high school degree, or equivalent
