Office Assistant in CPA Firm

We are a small CPA firm looking for an outstanding Office Assistant to support our team and manage reception as well as other office duties. We are looking for a pro-active, detail-oriented person who would like to be a contributor and belong to a successful small business.

Responsibilities will include:

Answering the phone.

Scheduling appointments.

Maintaining files.

Filing and updating client records.

Accurately processing tax returns and sending tax packets to clients.

Ordering office supplies and managing maintenance of office equipment.

Assisting with accounting staff projects.

Necessary Skills and Education:

Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Proficiency with QBs is a plus.

Quick learner.

Possess exceptional attention to detail.

Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.

Able to work independently.

Able to coordinate multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Willing to take directions and lean new processes.

College degree or equivalent knowledge.

Two years administrative experience.
