This part-time position is a paid apprenticeship for someone looking to gain knowledge and learn the basics of property management as a career. As a Leasing Agent Apprentice, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in the real estate industry by assisting our Property Management team in various tasks related to property leasing and management. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to learn about property marketing, customer service, and administrative duties within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
The candidate will show rental property to prospective tenants, and assist with move-in and move-out tasks such as coordinating cleaning, repairs, and checklists. Study and Learn the Lease Agreements. Paid work will be the time you actually spend going to the property and meeting with tenants/vendors/contracts. Unpaid work will be the reading and self-education that will be required for any professional looking to advance their own career. These self-education projects will be about 2-3 hours per week.
Hours:
To start, this position will be 10-15 per week until the candidate can ramp up to speed. This is a part-time job that may require a candidate to visit the property 3 times per week. Typical meetings will be with potential tenants and handymen needing to do minor repairs.
Expectations:
This job is an entry-level position for a candidate who looking to gain knowledge and experience in the real estate property management field. This would not be a good fit for someone who is under pressure to make a high income or needs to find a full-time job. However, it is the perfect job for someone looking to learn about property management.
