About Us:
I’m an engineer with a busy career looking to step back from the day-to-day property management of five buildings in North Oakland and Berkeley. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in learning real estate in the Bay Area! You’ll get exposure to things like rent control, investment management, and more.
What You’ll Do:
Show apartments to potential tenants
Take tenant calls and handle issues
Schedule repairs and work with vendors
Follow up on rent payments
Manage finances on DoorLoop
What We’re Looking For:
Some experience in property management or real estate is a plus
Comfortable working independently
Flexible schedule – work on your own time except for emergencies
Familiar with property management software (DoorLoop experience is a bonus)
Driver’s license and access to transportation
Compensation:
Choose between hourly ($35-$45/hr) or a fixed 20 hours per week
